 Differences between Database Layer & ESE
Hi again forum friends.
I've been busy buying the xmas gifts and reading my new 217 Coriolis book,  and i found something interesting which i would like the hear another comments about it.
My book says the ESE is whom phisically stores the Active Directory data. Then, what's the final purpose of the Database Layer? Can someone please explain me their differences and definitions? Wich of both drives the ntds.dit file?
