server stopped
Hi
SQL server 2000 on my local machine has stopped. Start command doesn't give
any response. Do you know what could be the reason? Windows XP Pro / 512 MB
RAM / PIII 750
Thanks.

Re: server stopped
You might get a clue by checking for errors/warnings using Event Viewer.
You might also check the SQL Server log files, which are located down the
SQL Server installation directory tree in a LOG subdirectory.

Re: server stopped
Hi,

You can find it in Log subfolder in the folder where your SQL server
binaries reside.
For example C:\MSSQL7\Log\Errorlog.1
It is also available in EM when server is running .
Regards,
Oleg.
