Licensing Question

We are running SS2000 Standard Edition using per processor
licensing. The "MS Licensing Product Use Rights" document
states that "if you have acquired the Enterprise
Edition..., you may also install any number of instances
of the Server Software..."

Can we "legally" install multiple instances with the
Standard Edition or is the Enterprise Edition required?

Thanks in advance

Re: Licensing Question

Enterprise - install multiple instances on the licensed
server at no extra cost

Standard - each instance has to be licensed separately
