Hi!

If there is this message when booting, how to solve for Microsoft?

Thanx

Make sure the Boot.ini file is pointing to the correct place.

Check the boot.ini is pointing to the right place then replace ntoskrnl.exe
if necessary in the <windowsroot>/system32/ dir.

Here is the Microsoft Knowledge Base article on how to fix that error message:
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;124550
It includes a link to the article on BOOT.INI and ARC Path Naming Conventions and Usage

I think that by booting the system with the win2k cd into the recovery
console you can edit the boot.ini to correctly point to the file. Yes there
are other ways that this type of error can be fixed but, I have found that
it is usually a boot.ini issue.
