NIC problem
Yesterday i get a IBM computer from a client. Install win2k professional and everything was installed OK.
i only don`t have network. when i go to device manager i see the NIC 3com card (3c905B-tx) with a yellow circle and a black exclamation simbol. i check properties and say "the device can`t start"
what i must do?
any sugestions?
i try with another drivers and the same problem appears...
pd: the card is ok because had win98 and network works ok.

In Win2K/XP I've seen this caused by two different things.
First, drivers not being installed. Since you said you installed the right drivers this probably isn't it. By the way, I have that same card at work and it's easy to set up and use in 98, it's a good card.
Secondly, a service it needs is disabled. This happened with my printer. The spooling service was disabled because something else it depended on was disabled, so the whole thing couldn't print. You should go into service manager and see what network-related services are disabled.

Maybe there is a conflict between the NIC and another device.
i check the bios.
i make a fewa changes but the problems continue......
the problems refers not to a conflict, only say "the device cannot start"...
