sqlserver 2000 with sp 2 and analysis server on windows 2000 server

Hi!

I have now installed on a Windows XP computer from the original microsoft
sql server 2000 cd the analysis services.
I have then started on my Windows XP pc the analysis manager and registered
it to my windows 2000 sql server(analysis manager).
Now I have on my client analysis manager all objects from my analysis server
(cubes..).
When I want to see the data of my cube I get the following error: 'unknown
error' and I see no data of my cube.
Have I forgotten anything on the configuration at the client analysis
manager?

Is the installation of the analysis services on a client computer the only
way
to give the user the possibility to create and change cubes?
when a user only wants to work with cubes (no change and create of new
cubes)?

There are a lot of other datawarehouse products like cognos ..... Why need I
such a product when I have slqserver analysis manager?
Please call some good products?

How could I only with the sqlserver tools present my cubes on my intranet
(internet). A client computer should be able only with the internet explorer
work with my cubes.
Is that possible?

Thanks for good tips!
