How to get the true size of an Image field...

Hi,

I am in the process of debugging some code that stores data in a field of
type Image. I am suspecting that no data is stored at all in that field, so
I want to confirm that. I need to know the exakt size in bytes of the data
contained in that field. Can you help me with a SQL-command that returns the
true size?

Thanks in advance...

Ok, sorry, I should have searched the archive before asking my question.
Datalength()-function seems to be what I want, right?
