I have the Cisco Press CID Exam Certification Guide, but obviously
there a few chapters that aren't worth looking at (SNA, Appletalk,
Voice etc.)...

So, what should I be looking at to fill that void? What has Cisco done
to fill that void?

I would suggest things like voice and QOS. I would feel very nakewd going
into an exam not knowing about those subjetcs nowadays !

If you are looking to be a well rounded Design Engineer, then it
depends on the environment in which you will be designing.

If you are just concerned with passing the CID, I posted a few
messages concerning information about the exam as well as what I did
to prepare. Do a search for CID and then sort by date. These were
posted in the last month. Yes, I passed.
