Hello, well welcome to the forums at Examnotes - the best on the net (Webmaster can I have my commission now?).
You've come to the right place for tips and guidance, everyone here is happy to help you along the way. If you aren't working on a Win 2000 network or don't have a lot of experience in the field then yes, take all the notes you can and remember them. Take the exams as soon as you feel you are ready, as do all the exam or test questions in your books. After the exam, take the next as soon as possible, as there is a bit of cross topic questioning in each exam.
Mostly, have fun!!

I was taking notes for awhile and than decided ,got thinking why don't I use a highlighter and use different color for the different level of importance right in the book ,find it easier to return to previous chapters and read the important stuff.
Also use study guide 2-3 of them ,they are like notes much the same I would write (actualy better ).
The more you practice hand-on,it eventualy stick up there.

hey sparkey markey, nice to see someone else from ireland on the boards
just practice as much as you can and you will pick things up much faster. Reading how to install 'wins' is no way as good as actually doing it a couple of times and coming across errors that would'nt be in the books !

sparkey, i would suggest building a lab. if your books don't have exercies to do, you can create your own.
i will not consider starting mcp study until i have completed my network+, but understand that part of 210 covers installing win2k from a server. one exercise i would intend on doing is trying to install win2k on a station from a server..
a+ contains questions on win9x, nt and win2k. for my exam i bought copies of them all, just to install in my lab for the nads-on.
you seriously can't beat it with a big stick. nothing beats working throught the contents of the control panel with an egg soda in one hand!
