I have heard Prometric has many problems, while VUE has none. I was leaning more towards VUE; since it is my first testing experience, can you relate how your experiences with Prometric/VUE went?
Also, if I test with VUE, is the procedure basically the same as with Prometric? Do they need two forms of identification, both with signatures?

Yes, the procedure is the same for both. But remember, if your first test is in VUE, then stick with is for all your future tests, especially MS test because the two will give you different number for identification.

Just go with a testing center you like. There really is not much difference between the two testing companies, IMHO. Vue is newer, so less locations, but supposedly it is better on the back end. (Easier to install software for tests, etc.) I don't think the testing ID matters. Your SSN is used to make sure that the correct info is applied to the correct person.

I've tested with both Prometric and Vue. Does not matter at all if you have different ID numbers. I would just look at each Website to see which one offers you the choice of location and test time that you prefer. Remember to use your 25% off coupon when you register for the exam. Good luck.
