Here are a few questions that I can't fidn answers to. Maybe somebody can help me with answers.
1. What do you need to connect to Internet?Is it bridge, nic, router, gateway?
2. How do you log on to FTP site?
username@password:ftp.xxx.xx
username assword:ftp.xxx.xx
username assword@ftp.xxx.xx
username@password@ftp.xxx.xx
3. Is this a right example of host file entry?

#1 the question is vague. is there more to the question? you need a TCP/IP connection, what you need for that connection is dependant upon the enviroment. sorry I can't resolve that question.
#2 proper log on would be username and password seperated by a colon. The password and server name are sperated by the ampersand character ie;
ftp://username assword@ftp.site.com
#3 IP address in first colunm then the host name, both should be seperated by at least one space. Any comment is to inserted after the # character; ie
