I feel good about lining the pockets of CompTIA. I got a 70 and 73 is passing. I missed it by 2 questions. Out of 75 questions I could've just changed 2. Man, that sucks. When I got to the site they took 20 mins to verify that I was suppose to test that day. Of course, that's why I failed, not my overall lack of mastery over the material. Seriously, anyone who is taking this test should take their time especially if you're not an IT pro. I took about 12 mins and didn't review any questions. I thought I had passed. I am $175 more broke than before, and I'm definitely a lot less ambitious about getting any more computer certs. My mistake. Oh well, learn from me and take your time. God, the A+ was seemed so easy.

Don't feel too badly. I know how it feels to fail an exam. You've got to pick yourself and go at it again. You'll pass next time for sure.

So you failed. Big deal. Happened to all of us. What truly matters is what you do now: are you gonna lie down like a submissive dog, or are you going to fight back and get that cert -- and many others?
If you decide to go for the latter, more power to you. please let us know how we can help!
If you go for the former, don't bother posting anymore.
Either way, good luck to you.

Hello, this is my first reaction on this site, but now i've find something that is similar to mine examination for I+net.
I also did fail the exam with 70% last week.
But i know i will be taken this test again this month, that's for sure.
Greetings from the Netherlands

I'm with you robeks. It sucks buy it gives you a different vantage point. Now you really have something to prove. I was just surprised by my score. I didn't think the questions were that hard. Some I've never seen but those were few. If I were paranoid I might think there's some scam involved. That's not really taking responsibility though. I guess the exam cram for i-net+ is pretty good. Anyway, good luck to you and onward and upward my friend.

Don't let it get you down. This is a hard test to study for becasue it's so broad. At any rate, I hear that many people have the same problem with this test, but most seem to fail it by only a few percentage points. That should be encouraging. Just look at your score sheet and go over the areas that you are weak in. The main thing is to not give up. Failing is kind of humbling, but it happens to all of us eventually (speaking from experience here!). Best of luck.
