Doug,
I haven't experienced any subnet questions when I took the exam. There might be a question asking what class a 255.255.255.0 subnet belongs to or something to this effect.
The only thing I saw concerning java or javascript is whether or not the programming resides on the server-side or the client-side. I've seen quite a few of these questions on my exam.
Your exam may be different, make sure you study hard, do the research, and focus on the exam objectives. Look at some i-Net+ dump sites to get an "idea" of what the test may be like but don't rely on the dumps. Do the research yourself. I ran into quite a few questions where 2 of the 4 answers were closely alike but only one is the best answer. I shook my head and thought, Man! I should have went over this material thoroughly.
Good luck, Doug!

Thanks a million Ive read 4 books so far on the i-net exam and I ive bought the trancender test. I want to make sure Im going to do well. But I was starting to get worried. Even though I do webdesign etc for a living. That I might be missing something in my studies. Since this is my first test. I have studied about 3 hours a night. Thanks
