Hi,
I have never heard of any employer asking for this certification but it haven't been out for long either. Give it some time man, it will surely become one of the good one to get if you work as a webmaster or technician. Anyways, i would say that it cannot hurt you if you have this certification. It is expensive yeah but i'm still sure it's worth it. I'm studying for it and should pass it in a few. Been so buzy at work lately. Well that was my 2 cents.
