Tech Shark's company "Coffee makes the world go around" has a super ultra high speed 100 page per minute print device connected to a UNIX server.
Tech Shark has a meeting in 20 minutes and needs to print off 10 copies of a 200-page document on "Why caffeine is Gooooood" to present at his meeting.
On his computer, that just so happens to have Windows 2000 Professional on it, he installs Print Services for UNIX and then installs the printer. Tech Shark sends the document to the printer but nothing prints off the print device.
Which of the following should Tech Shark do to enable his computer to print to the device?
A. Configure the printer to use COM1
B. Use the Add Printer wizard to create a new local port and configure the printer to use the new port.
C. Configure the printer to use LPT1
D. Use the Add Printer wizard to create a new LPR port and configure the printer to use the new port.
Quick reminder - become familiar with Microsoft terminology with respect to what a "printer" is and what a "print device" is.
Print Device is the physical printer.
Printer is the software interface between the OS and the print device. It is the port(s) that print jobs get routed to.
Good luck and see you tomorrow for the answer!

How in the world can you make a 200 page document on "Why caffeine is so good"? Also, if my math is correct, thats 100 pages/min. That better be an ultra high speed printer.
Anyways Tech Shark will need to do B before anything will print.

Yup, it's a super duper ultra high speed caffeine fueled print device.
I edited the question for you Slinky
