 differenced between 70-210 and 70--215
Good afternoon folks,
Im going to start the MCSA next week.
What are the differences between 70-210 install, etc 2k pro, and 70-215
install configure, etc, 2k server.
I understand that they are 2 different OS but they are so similar, how
different can the exams be?

70-215 Covers more of the Server Services, IE DHCP, DNS, etc... this is also
covered in more depth in the 70-216 exam and then active directory with
GPO's in the 70-217 Exam.
I found that the 70-210 exam was more of end user problems ie, changing
resolution and things of that nature, where as the 70-215 exam had a lot to
do with RAS, DNS, and DHCP.

Quite a bit different. Familiarize yourself with the information you'll
need to know for each exam by going to http://www.microsoft.com/traincert
and looking at the objectives for each exam. I think you'll see some pretty
significant differences.

group!
It's a legit question, as there is a great deal of overlap, especially
in install procedures, even if the focus of the exam is server, not
desktop functions.
