Congratulations
On your pass.
May I ask what you used for your revision and if you have had any previous Cisco experience?

Still no reply?
A first time poster with 1000 on a very difficult exam. Something is not right about that.
Has anyone else noticed that the perfect score is becoming commonplace?
I thought that a pass and knowledge of the subject was the entire point of exams and then share and educate others if not on this forum then in real life situations.
It appears that the Cisco certification is not free of paper CCNA’s.

That does sound a little too good to be true. Did you notice that he(she) had been a member of the forum since Jan 2002 and had never posted. Myself, I had been a member for several months before my first post, also. However, there does seem to be a lot of really high scores for a test that was supposed to have been made more difficult with the latest revision. Makes one think about taking the exam without all that studying and sweating. Maybe it is not as difficult as Cisco wants you to believe.

I agree
This could be true also.
It could be myth that the tests have been difficult to keep the certification credible.
On the other hand I know a few people who have recently sat the exam and they have commented that the CCNA is indeed a hard exam for the entry level certification.
Which brings me back to my original point: The perfect pass mark for an exam that has the reputation for being hard is becoming commonplace. I suspect that some people are using other revision materials than hands-on experience and the Cisco or Sybex books, brain dumps in other words.
Which is a shame because you do not deserve the Certification unless you have the knowledge and experience and have put the hard work and effort into the exam.

The test itself is not too bad, it is the passing score that makes it hard. 3 years ago, when I had little Cisco experience, I scored 776 and the passing is 760. I scored much better three years later.
The test is relatively easy for one who has about 1 to 2 years of network experience and configured a few routers.
Talk about braindumps for CCNA, one of my customer showed me one last week. It has every question that I got and even the screen shots from the sims. How can you NOT get a 1000?!
I am to say that I came close, but not quite gotten the 1000. What I am trying to say is that, it is easy to pass, but hard to get the 1000!

Maybe he did use braindumps or maybe he didn't. Well done for passing. I did a 1 week course and passed my CCNA with 910 no braindumps. So maybe its not as hard as they want you to think it is. It was definately the hardest exam I have done so far but not impossible.
