New HP cert diploma. Have value?

Hello guys.
A couple of months ago i pass a exam from Hewlett Packard called HP SAN Technical Pre-Sales regarding SAN and Optical technologies, etc. I pass the exam with 650 (min 600) but pass is pass. I make the exam in a Sylvain Prometic Testing Center and have my sheet with all the required stuff.

Today i receive a e-mail from HP Mexico saying that i must go to HP to receive my diploma.

My answer is. This certification must have value?. How i can know if this HP cert have recognition on the market?. I must go to HP to get my diploma or forget this issue due to a unknow certification?

comments and sugestions.
regards
alex

The way I see it is that you took the time to learn the stuff and took time to write the test therefore it should mean something to you if no one else .I would take the time to pick up my certificate the next time your in the neiborhood .

All cert have value no matter how small it is. An achivment of any kind has value.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Take Care
