passed 215...some advice

Hi all, haven't posted in quite some time but I am back in the game for now. Took the 215 exam last thursday the 16th and passed no problem. I will say this much, over half of my questions pertained to disk administration, striping etc... know this in and out as there were some tricky questions. Alot of it pertained to "real life" type sceanrios and questions. practice witha test system and get to know it well. Good luck. -RH

Congratulations on the pass. I would have to agree with you on the advice. I got a lot of questions regarding what you mentioned. Overall I thought it was a good test.

What are you taking next?

Thanks folks...As far as what i ma taking next will be 216 in a week or so then 217 and 219 a few weeks after that then finally be done with my 2k MCSE...this work thing always seems to sidetrack you! Then onto finishing the CCNP...the cycle never stops...I looked at my MS transcripts the other night and thought to myself...wow...over the past 5 years they have gotten alot of my time and money...not to mention the $125 test fees make me give even more. But that is the price we pay to stay ahead of the rest in this field we work in. Oh yeah, as far as testing software I used examessentials.com...by far the best I have ever used...much better than the transcenders in my opinion! unfortunately they don't have any tests out yet for 217 and 219 so i'll use the transcenders there. Any suggestions otherwise? Thanks and feel free to write with questions etcc... RH

Question about 215

I have heard alot about knowing your services and such as well. How about that? I am preparing for the exam and I think I am paying alot of attentionn to DNS and DHCP and TCP/IP, is this the type of materil you would cover if you had it all to do again. I just passed my 210 todaay and I think I want to hit the server exam as soon as possible. I know alot of information applies to both. I am just curious. I have been using Advanced server as my primary OS for a while and I think that I should have been more comfortable with the 2K Pro...but the test wasn't the walk in the park I was expecting.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
