The MCAD would not cover ASP but it might cover ASP .NET. I'd probably have
a better idea if I was going to do more Microsoft exams but you see, I
boycotted them. I've worked with ASP and I always thought the end result was
mostly a convoluted mess. At least from that point of view ASP .NET seems
better. Don't bother too much with getting involved with certifications for
yesterday's technologies.

There's still a demand for COBOL and RPG programmers.

I'm not really sure an ASP certification would be useful anyway.
While there's some knowledge needed to code it, the real usefulness to
an employer would be SQL or other database knowledge, as well as XML
and VisualBasic. VB.Net might be a way to go for future portability
in a career as well.
