Unhappy Motivation low

Hey all:
I am having trouble getting motivated to study for 70-218. I've done 5 tests since May and am pretty burned out on studying. Maybe I need a vacation.

Can anyone pass on some inspirational words to help bring me back up? (BTW: this is not suggesting I will cheet through it...so please don't go that route).

Just one exam away from MCSA.

Cool

I know how you feel StevoC! I've been there myself.

Take a "brain break" for week or so, it will do wonders for your frame of mind.

I passed the 218 back on May 21st and have just started studying for the 216. I took the time to kick back, relax and spend time with my family.

I'm really glad I did because I am very refreshed and ready to hit the books again!

How about: DO YOU LIKE YOUR JOB!

No just kidding! Take Spid's advice, give yourself a break. You'll come back refreshed and ready to get going. Taking a vacation to get your mind off of the studying for a while would do wonders for you.

Hey, I don't know if this is inspiring to you or not, but the 218 is one of the easier exams. That inspired me!

If your burned out, take a rest. These certs are not a race of time. They will be here no matter what.
Rest 2 weeks. Throw the books into the closet and try to enjoy the other things around you.

You want inspirational words? How about this:

"If something is to hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your shortwave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV." --Homer Simpson

Well, I'm feeling pretty motivated now. Actually, started reading again today. I took the 2126b class a few weeks ago, but since it was tailored for my work, we skipped a bunch of chapters. (IIS and RAS included...my two *ahem* favorite subjects).

Thanks guys....I'm going back at it.

buckwheat: thanks for the inspiration...I miss the Simpsons!

You live in Monterey, California?
You don't know, how lucky you are.
Do some golfing, relax and enjoy things you haven't done in a while...

Then, roll up the sleeves and ...

I do live in Monterey. How'd you know??
The golf courses are beautiful (and some expensive) here. If you play and are ever up this way, let me know and I'd love to play a round with you. Just know I'm not that good.
