IP or host name question using VPN and DSL in win2Kpro

Hi folks:

I am trying to figure out how I would make a VPN connection between 2
computers using win2k pro thru the Internet. I can follow the instructions
for setting it up to the point in the connection wizard where I have to put
in the host name or IP to the computer to which I am connecting. Since the
the other computer is connected through DSL (thru Earthlink), I don't think
the IP is static like mine (I have a cable modem).

As far as the incoming connection (which would be on hthe other computer),
I think I know what I have to do. I have to set up myself as a user and
then authorize myself to use the VPN and set up the shares I will want to
access.

Any help would be appreciated.

That wasn't me...it was an imposter claiming to be me. I didn't use
braindumps, nor do I endorse them.
