hi, i not sure what to do.i plan to take mcse but not sure whetever to wait
for XP or just study mcse 2000.
any suggestion .

This is the million dollar question for many.

Here's my advice. Act now instead of using it as an excuse. When you break
it down, here's the reality.

Windows XP is built on Windows 2000 technology. As far as the operation,
function, and networking is concerned, they are one and the same with a
Graphical User Interface (GUI) change.

In fact, Microsoft themselves state:

Windows 2000 = Windows NT Version 5.0
Windows XP = Windows NT Version 5.1

Besides, if you feel the urge to "upgrade" your cert down the way, you only
need to take one or two more exams.

Sitting back and waiting for XP will only cost you the experience of
starting today.

You can mix the tests. Take the XP test if you're worried about it, or start
out with some electives.
You can always do both, and don't be intimidated by the idea. If you know
one, you can learn the other.
I've found the 2000 tests to be incredibly easy although I began with NT a
few years ago. Just start taking tests and don't delay! You'll wish you
started earlier....

At this point I'd wait for Windows 2004 to come out, and I'd master it
as soon as I could. =) Seriously though, MCSE is more common and
widely recognized as a strong certification. If I were you I'd try to
prove my worth by earning an MCSE- instead of XP. That's my opinion.
