Talking Passed CID

Took the CID test today and passed easily; however I didn't feel a prepared as I felt with the other exams and the CIT.

I read the Crane & Terrell book twice went through the included exam materials. I knew the material inside and out.

The exam contents was right off of the CID website no surprises there, although I did spend considerable time on the other material, SNA and others, just in case.

Took the test and needed to a lot of elimination, not this, not that. Only about 1/10th of the material was plainly obvious. This was lower then expected.

No Sims.

As pass is a pass, oh well. Now I have another paper (in about two weeks), but no job to put it to use. Possibly I am one of the most certified out-of-work engineers in South Jersey, anybody hiring?

Feeling that you weren't that much prepare is a normal reaction.
Once you sit and take it, you seek that pass mark.
Which you did. Congrads to you!

Cool Thanks

Thought a book review would be helpful also.!

Just as with the CIT much of the tested material came out the other CCxP courses plus the DCN.

Did cover

haseeb_eng
No case studies the exam has not been upgraded as the 640-60x series. One or two commands.

pomerol82

My CID exam did cover ATM Theory and the equipment to properly deploy an ATM infrastructure.
As I noted earlier:

The exam contents was right off of the CID website no surprises there
