For STP, how you decide which port is non-designated (blocking) port?
I am studying Todd Lammle's CCNA study guide right now. I have some problem to follow the STP's example. How do you decide which port is non-designated port? Lowest bridge ID's port means non-designated port?
Help! Thanks in advance.
Jean

Thanks! It do helps to clean things up. Did you find any error for the Chapter 2 writeen Lab which try to specify the nondesignated ports? I think they may have one error, but I am not very sure.
Thanks!
Jean

Sorry, I just used Sybex and Cisco Press, and it was a year ago.
STP process is quite straight forward. Don't worry too much.
