CCIE labs
Hello-
Last week I asked a ccie in Dallas what he would recommend for a ccie lab book. And he told me this product http://www.ccbootcamp.com/rslab.asp .
I do not know if this is been used by anyone and would like to know your thoughts if you have. I hope this thread will be useful to all-
Thanks.

i'm guessing that's access to a lab. $650 wow that's a lot of money..you can buy 2 2501's off ebay for less than that, and at least get some kind of start. As far as books go, cisco lists a lot of references on their site. a good start is Kaslow's book(the title escapes me at the moment.."bridges, routers for CCIE's" or some such)..It has enough information to get you started down the right path. Also check out cisco's blueprint for the written test.
maybe the ccie was trying to tell you above all, that you need hands on. if you're in dallas, i'd heard a long time ago you can schedule (free?) practice lab time at the local cisco branch. also, check out the dallas cisco user's group.

Thanks for your replies. I do need more hands on. I get more every day at work/afterwork, oh yeah...weekends. Ha. But in addition to that I was thinking someone here might have tried this product. Thanks for the suggestions.
