7 for 7! MCSE certified!!! Finally. Now all I need is real experience, a job, and money. Anybody have any suggestions as to what certification track to pursue next? I'm thinking along the lines of M-CIW Admin, Cisco, Oracle or something relating to Unix. What are the available certifications for Unix?
Also, now that I have MCSE and MCDBA, there is no need to get MCSA is there?
As far as the test went, very easy. The easiest test next to 70-215. Four hours is very generous. It only took me around an hour and used mostly Troytech and of course the MOC study guide to help me prepare for this.
Finally, I know Microsoft used to offer like free stuff (like software) for MCSE certified people. Is that still the case? If so, what do they offer? Thanks. And good luck to all those still out there studying for these tests.

MCSE

There is no need for the MCSA if you have MCSE.

Whatever

Hey, thanks for the replies everyone. You're right about the MCSA, I don't see any reason to go for that certification. I'm thinking CCNA, but that's like starting all over isn't it?

Troytec 70-219

Did anyone use the Troytec for 70-219? Is it worth looking at for this exam?

Troytech

Yes I used it, and it is worth using. However, I was having the same dilemma myself before taking the exam, so I paid for the Examnotes for the the same exam to check the validity of Troytech and to make a long story short, even with both of the test notes, there are some inconsistincies between them and the actual test. That is, some don't match. But they are good enough if you get my meaning.
