Cool transcender or self test

Hi,
Could somebody please tell me whether its better to get transcender or the "self test software" for the sql server exams. i am planning to take exam 70-229 and 70-228. Also I have transcender exam70-029(for sql server 7.0), is it a good idea to buy the transcender 70-229 exam or practice with the 70-029 exam.
Thank you everybody

I haven't tried self-test; I used Transcender for 70-228, and it accurately represented the general content and difficulty level of the real exam.

I have always used the MOC/Cramsession, and then any testing sofware that appeals to you.

What is good about the MOC is that it really lets you learn the concepts needed to pass the test. If you experienced, you can just get buy with a testing software.

My skimpiest "test stack" was what I used for 70-228: Transcender with flash, Exam Cram, and Books Online. A very cheap exam to pass!

As for the 4 core MCSE Win2K exams, I used a Syngress book set I picked up at Costco, Transcender with flash, and the 70-215 passport book.
