This is true, at this point in time just an A+ certification won't open many doors.

I am in New Orleans and you can get jobs here doing Roll-Outs.
Most of the big Oil Companies and Hospitals are getting ready to do them.
As for the salary it will range from 13 to 20 for onshore and 15 to 27 for offshore

FYI...
Best Buy hires entry level technicians with at least A+ Certification at $10 an hour. In some Best Buy stores it may be even more.
