Thu 70-216 Question of the Day
And today's poser is ....
Q73. You are the administrator for your Windows 2000 network, which uses the TCP/IP protocol solely. One of your Windows 2000 Professional computers has suddenly started having communication problems. From a command prompt, you type the netstat -a command. What information will this command provide?
A. Ethernet statistics.
B. The contents of the routing table.
C. Addresses and port numbers in numerical form.
D. The status of all activity on the TCP and UDP ports on the computer.
Good Luck .... see you tomorrow for the answer!!

I'm thinking C or D. I tried it on my W95 laptop and I couldn't tell for sure what I was looking at! Since there is a "STATE" column I will go with D.

Wouldnt D mean listing all 65536 ports on the machine.
I will go with C if that is correct.
Netstat -a (If I remeber correctly) shows which ports are opened or in wait state and if they use TCP or UDP
