Thu W2K Professional Question of the Day
Before I post today's poser I would like to take this opportunity to wish Claudio Rivas Good Luck as he takes this exam tomorrow.
So today's poser is ....
Q79. Your computer operates a LAN supporting computers running Windows 2000 Professional. Other users on the network need to edit offline documents in one folder on your computer running Windows 2000 Professional. If users edit both the cached offline copy of a file and the network version of a file, which two choices exist when you want to save all changes without renaming one version of the file? (Choose Two)
A. Use the Indexing Service to merge the changes.
B. Use the Synchronization Merge Wizard to merge the changes.
C. Overwrite the cached version with the version on the network.
D. Retain the cached version and do not update the network copy.
Good Luck .... see you tomorrow for the answer!!

I'm going to take a guess...
... I say C & D
because...
1. I have not heard of a Synchronization Merge Wizard (not to say there isn't one)
and
2. I don't think the indexing Service can perform such a task.

There is a Synchronization Manager.
But I think I'll go with C and D also, as these are the options in Sync Manager.
