Microsoft doesn't disclose the number of questions and passing mark before hand, so I won't either. You're notified of the duration when you register for the exam. The exams typically lasts up to 2 - 2.5 hours.

70-228 had a shorter-than-usual duration (I think it was 105 minutes); in the old days, prior to the PASS/FAIL policy, the passing score was 770 or so, but they didn't show this on the actual exam.
I still had about 15-20 minutes to spare after finishing 70-228; the time allotment is not that tight.
