Talking To any RHCE's

To any RHCE's

At the moment I am studying hard for my RHCE exam, everything is going well but i have a few questions about the exam. I know that you can not talk about the contents of the exam so please tell me if I am asking to much.

I have read everything I can get my hands on about what the exam is made up of but i not sure on a few points.

For example during the debug part of the exam you have 2.5 hours to complete it and from what i know you are give 3 - 4 problems to fix.

my Q is once you fix it do they reinstall your OS then break it again? if they do reinstall are they using Kickstart (NFS,HTTP, etc)?

Are there anythings that are a must to study for this part of the exam?

During the Install part of the exam do you have to install the OS and update the kernel or do you just have to install and config netwrk services?

Once again I know that I might be asking to much but any help would be great, for example do you have any tips or web sites that you wish you knew before sitting the exam.

Thank you in advance.

Snork.

If you have any doc's or exam guides that you found helpful and you would like to share them you could email me on pbstewart75@hotmail.com

thank again.

The guy I work with has his RHCE. he said the written tests were pretty easy but the labs were murder. Installation and kernel configuration are really pretty simple when you get down to it, and the RPM management system makes upgrades easy. What the real challenge was is the troubleshooting lab, when you have to find out WHY something isn't workoing, diagnose the problem and fix it. I would bet this would require a good bit of actual experience, but am not sure how detailed the lab questions are.
