Question MRTG report generation

Hi all,

Can somebody please advise the resources and/or procedures/skills that I need to generate the MRTG report for a router?

go to this site:

http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/

and download MRTG, recent ver should be MRTG 2.9.18pre7.

you also need to download and install perl:

ActivePerl 5.6.1 build 631

http://www.activestate.com/Products...=ActivePerl&a=e

and follow the instructions setp by step.

- eventually, it's better to run MRTG as a service (this depends on which OS you are using).

- configure snmp on the devices that you want to monitor

- setup a web server to link to the created MRTG web pages and stats

again all you need to know is on :

it's alittle pain to get it to work right away, but once you get it to work it's a very great monitor. i hope this some what helpful.
