Wed 70-217 Question of the Day
And today's poser is ....
Q53. As an administrator you attempt to add multiple IP address range entries into the Instant Messaging Firewall Topology Module located within the Global Settings object of the Exchange System Manager Microsoft Management Console snap-in, and receive the following error message:
Active Directory Returned Unexpected Results. Please Try This Operation Again.
How can you resolve this problem?
A. Re-enter an IP range that is currently in use within the Firewall Topology Module object.
B. Enter a different IP range, one that is currently in use within the Firewall Topology Module object.
C. Enter a different IP range, one that is not currently in use within the Firewall Topology Module object.
D. Remove the Firewall Topology Module object and enter a different IP range then add the Firewall Topology Module object.
Good Luck .... see you tomorrow for the answer!!

I have to go with C.
CAUSE
The administrator has entered an IP address range that is already defined within the Instant Messaging Firewall Topology Module of Active Directory; Active Directory does not allow duplicate entries for this particular object.
RESOLUTION
Enter a different IP range, one that is not currently in use within the Firewall Topology Module object.
Boy Frank, you dug deep for that one.
