Passed!
Passed the 607 today. Advice? Know everything! Make sure you understand your subject's concepts so that you can filter out wrong answers by deconstructing (talking to yourself in the exam room) them!
Did I mention know everything? Know your stuff so that you don't lapse into second guessing mode.
Overall, a good test of your knowledge and the toughest certification exam I've taken to date.
Good luck to all future exam takers!

Well done,
Im sure it must have been a lot of hard work, but you came through. You know you were 'in my heart'. And you never know, (like me)there could be a brighter future just 'up the road'.

Re: Re: Passed!
obeid,
Study materials were:
Sybex CCNA 640-507 book
Sybex CCNA Virtual Lab e-trainer
Coriolis 640-507 Routing and Switching
Transcender CCNA
ExamCram Site practice exams
ExamCram Cisco Resources
Various on-line exams
Various on-line study guides
www.r1r2.com
Best to stick with the Sybex and Coriolis stuff (which you read, re-read and MUST understand), Transcender was good for drilling yourself on, ExamCram not too bad, on-line exams if you really must (I can never get into the cert21 exams so I don't know what they're like), on-line study guides for those quiet moments in the smallest room in the house while you're contemplating your navel.
I only found out about r1r2 a couple of weeks ago and if you can get on the router 'sim' (may take an attempt or two) it's worth it (runs IOS 12.0).
Tantric chanting also very handy if you're in the exam room on your own!
Good Luck.

This question requires a simple (if lengthy) response;
You must know about everything!
When you sit your exam your knowledge base should allow you to know the answer by filtering out the obviously wrong answers, and also allow you to decide between the remaining answers that sound plausible, but are not quite right, and the remaining answers that are correct.
If you don't have a good knowledge of everything don't waste your money on the exam until you do.
I'm not trying to put the frighteners on people taking the exam but, you can only get 7 questions wrong out of the 50 and that's not much of a buffer zone.
All the info in the Lammle Sybex book about IPX, and not just in the IPX chapter but spread throughout the book, is enough to get you through.
Good Luck.
