Sun 70-216 Question of the Day
And today's poser is ....
Q67. You administer a Windows 2000 network for your company. The company consists of a home office and many branch offices in surrounding States. The network consists of all Windows 2000 Server computers and Windows 2000 Professional client computers. Remote access is enabled on the network. The branch offices dial into the home office server.
You receive a call from a user at a branch office that is having problems with the connection to the server at the home office. The user states that the connection was closed by the remote computer. You have the phone line checked for problems and a return call to you from the phone company informs you that the phone lines are working and clear. What may be the problem?
A. The user account is not configured properly.
B. The user account is configured to use dynamic IP addresses.
C. The client computer is configured with the incorrect authentication protocol.
D. The client computer cannot negotiate correctly with the modem on the remote access server at the selected speed.
Good Luck .... see you tomorrow for the answer!!

I say "D", assuming the users connection worked previously and that nothing changed (that's a big assumption!). If it never worked, I might say "C".
