Suggestions for study guide.
Hi everyone, has anyone used the Syngress Osborne book for this test? If so what do you think about it? I am thinking about buying the book to prepare for the test. Thanks for your input.

I'm sure that the Syngress Osborne book is fine, just make sure to review MS Exam Objectives and use other resources, including a variety of practice tests and daily questions.

I am using the Mike Meyers passport series (first time I've used one, very readable), Exam Cram, and Transcender. The combination of 2 books plus Transcender has worked for me every time - 14 exams now. This time in addition I was given a CBT nuggets video. Have not done that yet. I almost always over-prepare. This time was was going to cut it short and go for it next week (since the next week is impossible) but now that I hear the exam is longer, I can't see taking a chance on blowing it. So back to the books.
I always find that when I get to the Transcender part of my study (always after the first book), it puts some structure and scope to the exam for me.
Then of course, I always wear my lucky earrings to the exam.
Just another question - if the exam is over 3 hours, has anyone ever tried to leave to run to the "facilities"? I never have, but once I thought I might lose my lunch in the test room!!!!!

I have found most of the books will give you the needed background. Transcenders have always worked for me. Do get hands-on practice.
Joan0618 - as far as using the "facilities", you'll just have to ask the test proctor. I've been given permission to do so in the past.
