Trouble shooting CDRW
OK XP pro's Here Is the Problem ,
My Cousin Purchased New HP Pavlion ,
It Came With XP loaded .
Hardware 256 Meg Ram , 1Ghz CPU ,
Hp Cdrw , HP DVD rom ,
4 USB ports ...
Here Is the problem .
When ever you try to Use the dvd drive .
The drive hangs I used winmedai player and HP sofDvd player to try and watch it both programs ,
just stop responding ... Any Ideas of what problem could be .

Honestly it seems as you have both softwares conflicting with each other trying to pick up the CD.
Unistall the winmedia player. If your HP player handles both cd and dvd.
