Question Details

Does anyone out there have any details on this test? Such as time available, passing score, etc... Thanks.

If you mean 70-229, I didn't take that one, but I did take its predecessor, 70-029. It remains the most difficult of the 7 exams I've taken to date; it had a lot of "select all that apply" scenarios where you had to quickly read a fair amount of information and pick out the pertinent facts. Unlike every other MPC exam I've taken, I finished this one with only 2 minutes to spare!

Very challenging!

135 mins; fewer questions than I expected...

I was done in 30 about mins, and that's after reviewing all answers. But then again, I didn't get a great score - enough to pass though, mind!

It's heavy on SQL; read and understand code snippets. Heavy on performance (performance tuning, indexes etc) some XML, some simply SQL questions. Just as what you'd expect from Microsoft's list of "skills being measured".
