Mcsa - 210

I am preparing for this 1st of MCSA exam.
But, do not know what's the test format and
the passing score? Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks.

Thumbs up

MCSA is simply 4 exams. 70-210, 215, 216 & 218.

210: 50 questions, 540 passing score.
215: 51 questions, 660 passing score.

216 & 218 are between 60 and 65 questions each. They are strictly pass/fail marks. No other score.

Best of luck to you

Thank you for helping me understand this scoring! Do you know how they score each items? For example, 20 points for one correct item? And each item is equally weighted?

Thx!

From my understanding, they are not weighted with same point. Anyway, that is not the main point, the most important thing is finding study material and then spend your time to study the subject, wish you be a MCSA soon, cheers!

70210 and 70215 have 50 and 51 question respectively.... 540 and 660 passing score.

70216 have 55 question a few months ago... now have 65 questions as i read in this forum.... its more difficult.

about 70218... i recommend you visit the 70218 forum in examnotes...

about the load for questions, i think different questions have different value due to difficulty...

b regards

This may sound like a stupid question, but is the 540 score needed based on a 1000 perfect score? In other words does it equal out to 54%?

70210 is not an easy exam. Microsoft wants 540 because know that if you are able to pass with this score, you have enough experience and knowledge to admin and manage win2k.

about the relation of 540 to 54%, this is not real. Some questions have more value than others....
