I don't understand one thing that when any exam number changes why everybody get upset ? If it has same course outline then nothing to worry about it .

Probably because, historically speaking, a number change has been combined with new material.

human nature I guess.
I mean when I did CID they changed the objectives on me.
They actually removed some objectives, did that make me feel better?
No
It made me even more nervous hehe
Why?
I don`t know
Just human nature
We like to worry I guess

Here is the reason
If you were lucky to have taken the other previous exams, basically you could have passed it by just reading the dumps and all you had to know was basic routing commands. Now imagine the new test which actually tests your knowledge through the simulation exam and yet the value of your CCNA is same as the one's who took the exam last year or last month. I can tell you that I know atleast 3 CCNA's who can't even configure a port or even better seen a real router. So If Cisco forces them to recertify..then it would be a fair exam...like what Microsoft did with 2000 Track vs the NT4.0. Granted the objectives is the same, but its like saying its a 5 mile marathon and instead of running only, you have to jump the hurdle and swim for two miles to get to the finish line. For me it doesn't matter, because I am looking beyond CCNA and toward CCNP so I got to know my stuff.

Cisco has always required recertification.
I recomend recertifying by going foward to the CCNP which will automatically recertify you.
