Thu 70-216 Question of the Day
And today's poser is ....
Q58. You are the administrator for a Windows 2000 network. The network consists of Windows 2000 Server computers and Windows 2000 Professional client computers. One of the servers on the network is configured to be the enterprise CA.
You are determining the necessary certificate types you will need to implement on the CA. One of the certificate types you decide on is a certificate that is used as a certificate request agent. The certificate will be issued to computers, as opposed to people or routers. Which certificate template will you use for this type of certificate?
A. CEP Encryption
B. EnrollmentAgent
C. MachineEnrollmentAgent
D. IPSECIntermediateOnline
Good Luck .... see you tomorrow for the answer!!

And the answer is ....
Correct Answers: C
You can use certificate templates to issue a variety of certificate types. A certificate used as a certificate request agent, and one that will be issued to computers, will use the MachineEnrollmentAgent template.
The EnrollmentAgent template is the certificate request agent type that is issued to people.
The CEP Encryption template is the certificate request agent type that is issued to routers.
The IPSECIntermediateOnline is the IP Security type that is issued to computers.
