And today's poser is ....
Q64. Alison is called to a users desktop to troubleshoot a video problem. When she arrives, she notices the following error message on the screen: "Unsupported mode". What should Alison do to solve this problem?
A. Replace the monitor. This is the sign that the monitor is bad.
B. Boot the computer to safe mode, change the refresh rate to one that the monitor will support.
C. Replace the video card. This is a sign that the video card has gone bad.
D. Boot the computer to safe mode, change the screen resolution to one that the monitor will support.

If the refresh rate is set incorrectly most monitors will display "Unsupported mode" or "Invalid Sync".
