Test scheduled....now what?
I am about to schedule my exam for about 2 weeks from now. I am getting pretty close and now I want to force myself to really bust my butt over the next 2 weeks to get ready. I would like to hear how the rest of you spend that time leading up to an exam preparing.

whip out that spreadsheet program and make a schedule for yourself.
This is the time for very focused review/cram.
make tight but realistic schedule and make sure you stick with it.
if there are 10 chapters in book. i would do something like
2 chapter/day review. after 5 days, spend 1 day review and making your own study guide of those chapters, so they are like the one u can download for free on the net. with tables etc if needed.
then spend next 5 day for the other 5 chapters, then 1 day for review.
then sleep/do nothing for a whole day. or catch up if u get behind.
then the day before the exam, go over your own notes and casually look over exam cram notes etc. very light study. relax chill etc.

What now? Simple you have the exam in 2 weeks. Get out your book and downloaded study guides if anything. After reading a chapter followi t up with what is discussed on the study guide and vice versa.
also try modules like Transcender for assurance.

Yes you do have to consider passing it. Also don't look for ways to cheat and get ahead of yourself. Focus on the reading materials

Just passed the 70-210 2 1/2 hours ago with an 820,yes they still give scores.
MAJOR TIP: DO NOT OVERSTUDY!!!
For my 70-098,I spent a week with nonstop studying, and by the time I took the test, my mind was so bogged down with WIN98,that I could not think clearly and I failed with a 640, waited a week, hardly studied at all,and passed with a 780.
So for the 70-210 ,in the final week, I studied moderatley, and as I went through books,I would write down anything I had trouble remembering, ,just the bare facts, and last night I printed it out,and read over a page every couple of hours,at work .Nice and relaxed.
Hope this helps and good luck!
