Transaction and Site Server in IIS 5.0?
I know that Transaction Server and Site Server were components of IIS 4.0, but I have just installed Server 2000 and I do not see Transaction Server or Site Server listed. Does anyone know if they are a part of IIS 5.0?

N Tier App Server Configurations
Don't install IIS unless needed.
Transaction server is integral to Windows 2000 now. DO NOT INSTALL SP2 IT BREAKS DCOM as od december...CHECK FOR A ROLL-UP.
PS. You may have to kickstart transaction server after a reboot
Best Wishes
