how to list javascript exam on resume ?

Since there is no actual certification for taking the javascript exam, just the warm & fuzzy feeling for passing the test, I'm wondering how to list this on my resume. Suggestions from how anyone else did this. Also, how come they don't have a Perl practice exam at cert21. Looking to take this test in the near future and wondering about extra aids in studying for this exam.

I'd use some creativity here. How about this:

Professional Certifications: CIW-Associate, CIW-JavaScript

And as far as cert21 offering test prep for the CIW Perl exam, I am sure that they are working on questions right now. Based on what I have read from our Webmaster at ExamNotes, who also runs the cert21 site, he has shown a lot of personal interest in the CIW certs and this means that cert21 will eventually will have practice tests for all the CIW exams. I, too, am awaiting the Perl questions.

Good luck with your resume!

If you are going for one of the certifications that includes the Javascript exam, you could include the broader certification on your resume as something you are *seeking*, then list the tests you've passed under that. This gives you an excuse to bring up the individual exam...

As for the good Perl books - I will highly recommmend the O'Reilly Perl books. They are excellent. Good luck.

I used the official Prosoft manual. You could really just use O'Reilly's "Learning Perl" as everything in the Prosoft courseware is in "Learing Perl" (But not everything in "Learning Perl is in the official courseware
