There's not really a yes or no answer to that one is there? Depends on a thousand different factors. You hear of people with all the qualifications in the world ending up in the gutter, or on the other hand 20 year old millionaires who never got a qualification in their lives.
As a general rule though the better your qualifications and experience, the better your salary.

Thank you, MistyRing for a good response to that question. I think it all boils down to skills and experience especially if you're qualified with a good degree from a well known university. Lastly, with God on your side, sometimes we think this is irrelevant and use the word luck. Sorry, try and read that book called "The Prayer Of Jabez" you'd be surprise what it is you'd figure out. Nuff said as am not commenting on this issue any more. Stay focused and remain positive as my attitude still is and would remain ain't quitting till I win. At the end of the day look at Bill Gates, he has all the money inthe world but he is stil at it so what should I say or do or even you. I guessed you figured that one out. Cheerio

Well, it DOES depend on a lot of factors, but.....ummmmm....generally no.
My company prides itself on being pretty competitive with wages and I can tell you the only persons we have in IT who make 6 figures are the Senior Vice President and the Assistant Vice Presidents and it took them many years to get there.
The programmers come next and they max out at $80,000-85,000. Network Admins max out at $70,000 and PC Support people top out at $48,000. I think those are pretty good salaries, though, even if they're not 6 figures.

6 figures
I think to get 6 digits (without being lucky), you need to be the one that the experts call when they have problems. To get that good, you will need some combination of intelligence, eperience, education, and work ethic.

The only way to get 6 figures in Rural kentucky is to have the acronym CEO behind your name.
I don`t know about louisville or lexington.

Thats the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. The only way were you live to think of 6 figures you bascially have to have the title od CEO behind your name. Remind me never to work in Kentucky.
