help: moving active directory
Hey fellas, I have a dilema at work, I need to move active directory from one Win2K server to another Win2k server which is more powerful. Now, is this possible? if so, how?

not sure what exactly you need to do with various detail of your network/sys but assuming the easiest most obvious
bring 2nd server in as bdc and then promote it to pdc.

I know it's tough as my work is entirely NT and my house is entirely 2k. Just bustin' chops, but it's all in good fun if we're learning, cool?

Right Jeff, don't forget to transfer those server roles (Schema master, RID master, etc.). Also, don't forget about the Global Catalog.
