Failed CID last Friday......
Just got 617...
the test like chodan said..
no apple talk
no ipx
no token ring
and no stratacom
i got 0% of Module 7 (Addressing Security Issue)
How can i find it ????
somewhere inside cisco???
Cause the resource that i have ,it just has 6 modules.
From the result ,i calculate that i win 23 questions from 75,
I think that if I win 35(50%) questions i will pass this exam.
do you think so???

I'm sorry for your results. But the next try, you'll got it !
My calculation is different:
the score starts with 300 points
there are 75 questions for 700 points
if have all 75 are good ==>100 % (9,33 by good question: approx))
755 represents 45 good answers (approx)
617 represents 34 good answers (approx)
It lacks you 11 or 12 good answers (it is the same as your results !)
Also, what were yours study books, yours training tests (Boson or ccxproduction ?), how much time did you spend to study this module ?
I'll try this test in the middle of april, Could u say if
it is necessary to study the SNA part ? The SNA seems to me a hard part, if I can avoid it, I shall be happy !
Thanks in advance, and good luck for the next time !

Thanks djo.
Thank you for your answer, it makes me feel better and hope so much to pass it next Fri,I have booked for it.
...
SNA,,,SNA...
if you convince in the other module, don't worry about SNA.
i've got SNA 0%,and Addressing security issues 0% also.,but there are a few questions.
..
there are 7 modules...
i use the books of training partners, they're the same as ciscopress. These books are not updated...
..
I think if you're ready,just get test ,don't wait.
cause you'll forget and lose some questions.
There are some questions that is not depend on understanding.,i mean you have to remember it.

on Addressing security issues I got 100%
but on SNA design I got a 0%
I just barely passed.
I have been told by someone who has taken both tests that they though CID as more difficult than CCIE written, and that if you pass it you should go right into study for the IE written test.
